The seventh in our webinar series FAPESP COVID-19 Research Webinars will address the logistics of manufacturing and distributing the COVID-19 vaccine portfolio. Several vaccine types (using both novel and more established strategies) are desirable, in order to alleviate the pandemic pressure. However, securing vaccine supplies with commissioned doses is fully dependent on the vaccine manufacturing capacity. Equitable distribution is key to reduce spreading of the virus and to offer opportunities to walk away from the quarantine state that the world population, including the Brazilian population, is facing.
