The Youth COP Launch Webinar will bring together a high-level panel of climate change experts to discuss the main developments of international negotiations on climate change and youth empowerment.

The webinar is the starting point of the Youth COP, a virtual mock negotiation of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of the Parties (COP) organized by Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, Université Paris Cité and Universidade Federal do Ceara.
The mock negotiation aims to gather 25 teams (75 students) from all over the world to engage in an enriching negotiation of climate-related subjects while fostering critical thinking and interpersonal skills. The competitors will develop a joint document that will become a “Call to Action from the Sorbonne Abu Dhabi to future generations” to be presented at COP28 by the two best teams.
The Organization Committee will present all information concerning the Youth COP participation during the webinar.
